The views of the Mourne mountains from the room provided a stunning backdrop that truly enhanced my stay.
The noise from the communal kitchen carried down the hallway, making it difficult to enjoy the tranquility of the lodge.

Absolutely loved the comfy bed and spacious room! 🛏️ Kitchen had all I needed, but the view from the back was a bit disappointing. Too noisy from the communal kitchen at times.

No plugs for hairdryers beside mirrors!!! Yard filled with a broken static caravan, old sinks, and junk, making a poor first impression!!! Noisy communal kitchen disrupted peaceful moments!!!

It was just a balanced option for exploring town in Newcastle (Down) with great value-to-price ratio. The kitchen had everything I needed, which made meal prep easy. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper since some noise comes from common areas.

great views but noise from kitchen
The room was beautifully clean with a comfy bed that ensured a good night's rest. Parking was plentiful which made access to the lodge easy. The lovely views of the mountains from my room were breathtaking, adding much to the ambiance of my stay.
The noise from the communal kitchen carried down the hallway, making it hard to enjoy the tranquility.

Warm and cozy stay!
I stayed in a budget double room for 2 nights and loved the warmth! The kitchen had everything I needed, and the view of the mountains was just breathtaking. Only bummer was that the bathroom could’ve used a bit more privacy. Breakfast was great too, really hit the spot.

This lodge boasts lovely fixtures and a clean, well-kept environment. The self-check-in process was seamless and the room offered comfortable storage space, ensuring convenience throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the noise from other guests was a recurring issue, making it challenging to relax at times. while the kitchen had the necessary amenities, I encountered some disturbances that detracted from the tranquil experience I sought. The mountain view from the shared kitchen was quite appealing, though it would have been nicer to have it from the room as well.
